Reservation Deposit, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Full refund or transfer — 72+ hours notice

To confirm your tour you pay a 20% reservation deposit online now; the balance is paid on arrival (cash or bank transfer). This deposit is a kapara / odustanica under Arts. 79–81 of the Serbian Law on Obligations — an earnest that secures your booking, not an advance payment (avans). Cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour and this deposit is refunded in full or transferred to a new date.

Deposit forfeited — under 72 hours notice

Cancel less than 72 hours before the tour and the reservation deposit is forfeited. No balance was charged, so nothing further is owed.

No refund — no-show, 15+ min late, or on-site disqualification

No-shows, arrivals more than 15 minutes late, and on-site disqualification (for example no valid licence, or being unfit to ride) forfeit the reservation deposit. Under Article 37 of Serbia’s Law on Consumer Protection, a recreational service booked for a specific date is exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal from the moment of booking; the deposit is a kapara, not an advance payment (avans).

Weather & safety — we cancel

Tours run in light rain — we provide ponchos. We will only cancel for genuinely unsafe conditions (severe storms, flooding, extreme heat, dangerous winds). If we cancel, you receive a full refund of your deposit or a free reschedule, and we will contact you no later than 3 hours before departure.

Refund processing

Approved deposit refunds are issued to the original card via OTP Banka and typically appear within 3–5 business days depending on your bank.

On-tour terminations

Once the tour has commenced there are no refunds, including early terminations for safety violations, intoxication, or rider preference. Any balance paid on arrival is non-refundable in these cases.

Complaints procedure

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to bookings@madmaxquads.rs within 8 days of the tour date. We will respond within 8 days of receipt as required by Serbian Law on Consumer Protection. If unsatisfied, you have the right to contact the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection at poverenik.rs.

Withdrawal form

Under Article 37 of Serbia's Law on Consumer Protection, a recreational service booked for a specific date is exempt from the standard 14-day distance-selling right of withdrawal, from the moment of booking. The reservation deposit is a kapara (earnest), not an advance payment (avans). The form below is provided for transparency in line with OTP Banka's IPM requirements.
